Erica Ruffin

Sous Chef

Born in a small suburban town in Delaware, Erica was raised by her mother and grandmother. After her grandmother passed, her family made their way to Augusta. There her interest in cooking blossomed. Coping with the loss and the big move, she binge-watched Food Network and participated in and won culinary competitions throughout her childhood, eventually enrolling in Augusta Technical College's culinary program. Her efforts paid off through internships, catering, and working as a school nutrition assistant. Today, she works alongside Chef Thomas as his sous chef.

Executive Chef

Chef Thomas Jacobs is a perfect example of turning a dream into destiny. As a child growing up in Augusta, he would ride his bicycle by The Partridge Inn and imagine what it would be like to be a chef there. He set his sights on that goal and earned a degree in culinary arts from the Arts Institute of Atlanta. After 15 years of honing his craft as a chef for other restaurants and organizations, Thomas became our executive chef in 2018. That passion and determination are now focused on leading our culinary team and creating the most savory, Southern cuisine in Augusta.
